Edward Ruchalski lives in Syracuse, New York, where he teaches guitar. He has been commissioned by the Bang on a Can All-Stars, Helen Boatwright and Syracuse's Society for New Music.
Ruchalski has also been the recipient of two Artist Grants from Syracuse's Cultural Resources Council for his compositions using motorized string & percussion instruments of his own design.
To date, he has eight studio recordings available on Pseudoarcana, Humbug, Taâlem and Foxy Digitalis.
His latest offering entitled "Territorial Objects" was published by Afe in April 2007 along with the reissue of "Dark Night", a work previously released on Foxy Digitalis in 2004.
